HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

A few people I know have been doing Gratitude journals for the month of November. I did not jump on the band wagon and keep a journal everyday, however here is a list of things that I am extremely grateful for:
1. My Husband - I am so proud of you Travis, you have achieved so many great things this year and I appreciate all you do for our little family!
2. My Children - you are truly the reason I was put on this earth. I love being your mom you give me so much to look forward to. It is amazing watching each of you and how quickly you learn.
3. My Amazing Parents - if not for you I would not even be here. You both are my hero's if I achieve anything in my life, I hope it is to be as great a parent as both of you have been to all of us. You have giving me everything I could ever hope for in life and more.
4. My Sisters - We fought so much growing up, but we have turned into such great friends and I enjoy spending time with both of you.
5. My Sister-in-laws - we may not always see eye to eye, However I have learned so much from each one of you and I am so grateful we are family.
6. My Brothers and Brother in laws -each one of you bring so much laughter to our family.
7. Disney's Cars movie - with out this movie, I would have a 2 year old stuff to my hip all day long.... Thanks you Disney!
8. Disposable Diapers....those of you that have had the fun opportunity to change Hayden's diaper know what I mean, can you image having to change and clean that many cloth diapers.. Ewwww
9. Gas Price's - I am so thankful for the dropping price of Gas, I know this won't last long, but I will enjoy it while it last.
10. Watching Saige learning to Read - I love the look on her face when it just clicks!

My life is so full of so many things that I am truly grateful for, these are just a few. I am making a goal for myself to realize to be thankful all year long, not just the month of November.

I wish each and everyone of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Thompson Family Halloween Party!

Pumpkin Carving Fun!!!

Every year we carve pumpkins, like everyone else, however for some reason it takes us forever to get them done....This year we started at 6:00 pm and we were able to finally clean everything up at 9:30pm. Travis like every year picks the hardest design, this year he picked out Wolves....it turned our great! Saige picked a Kitty, Hayden (more Trav then Hayden) picked a Goblin and I did the Witch! We had a great time and they all turned out awesome!

Daddy's Little Girl!

Suprise!!!

I know you can all pick your self up from the floor....I have finally updated my blog :) I was viewing other blogs and when I was looking at my Sister-in-law Sarinah's blog, she had posted a saying that really stuck with me. Sorry Sarinah I am copying you....

She had posted a this quote from Gordon B. Hinkley:

"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience."

Since I don't keep a journal, and since I don't scrapbook, I am going to set a goal to update this blog at least once a month.

So please bare with me as I am new to blogging!
